Medtronic have brought out a new infusion set – the Minimed Mio Advance. I have always found the Mio infusion set less painful than injections, however this is even better than that! It is less of a faff to insert, and no needle is left exposed. It has a Luer Lock connection which means it is compatible with some other pumps. (e.g. Roche and Animas pumps) It’s more child-friendly too.
